Vital signs

Respiratory modalities

Setting up CPAP/BIPAP/AVAPS

Post acute care

6 minute walk tests

O2 qualification tests

Rooming patients

Explain healthcare treatment procedures to patients to gain cooperation

Follow specific parameters of treatment

Maintain patient charts with accurate information

Assisting with day to day duties of the office

Respiratory therapists must possess the following qualities:

Interpersonal skills

Team player

Long term care experience
