    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, treating, and managing patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders. This role requires proficiency in conducting diagnostic tests, providing treatment, and developing care plans to improve patients' health outcomes. The Respiratory Therapist will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Assess and evaluate patients' respiratory conditions through clinical assessments and diagnostic testing.
    - Develop and implement effective treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and patient needs.
    - Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, ventilation support, and chest physiotherapy.
    - Monitor and document patients' progress, response to treatment, and adjust care plans as necessary.
    - Educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
    - Collaborate with healthcare team members to discuss patients' progress, treatment strategies, and necessary referrals.
    - Perform routine equipment maintenance and ensure the proper functioning of respiratory therapy equipment.
    - Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and infection control standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
    - Stay current with advancements in respiratory therapy and participate in continuing education opportunities.

    Qualifications:
    - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
    - Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT).
    - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
    - Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a hospital or critical care environment, is a plus.
    - Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
    - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
    - Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) and respiratory therapy equipment.

    Working Conditions:
    - May require working nights, weekends, and holidays based on patient needs and hospital scheduling.
    - Potential exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials.
    - Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and assist patients as needed.
