We are seeking a compassionate and experienced respite caregiver for a client with epilepsy, autism, Batten Disease, Phelan-McDermid Syndrome, and Pica behavior. The client is non-verbal, requires total care, constant supervision, and frequent diaper changes. He wears specialized clothing to prevent self-ingestion of non-food items and may display aggressive behavior toward others.

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Provide total care assistance (diapering, feeding, hygiene, dressing, showering).

Ensure constant supervision to maintain safety.

Support with behavior management and redirection as needed.

Monitor for seizures and medical concerns and respond accordingly.

Qualifications:

Experience working with individuals with physical or mental disabilities is preferred.

Must pass a Level 2 background screening.
