    We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our fantastic team at Buck & Honey's Mount Horeb!

    We know there is no shortage of restaurant GM roles out there, but we guarantee this one is different from any that you have seen before.

    Buck and Honey Birkinbine were one of Sun Prairie's best-known residents. They once owned and farmed the land where our first location sits today. Together they lived a life of service and philanthropy in the community and they were always well known to enjoy hosting good company at their home on Windsor Street.     You are an experienced and effective Restaurant General Manager.

    Leadership

    P & L management

    Conscious and proactive awareness of costs and identifying areas where the company can save money

    Working closely with executive chef for food ordering and management

    Managing labor costs

    Community Involvement & Engagement

    Developing relationships with the local community

    Giving back

    Joining board and/or chamber of commerce as local face of Buck & Honey’s

    Visibility and availability of the event spaces at the location

    Location Operations

    Front of house scheduling

    Time off management

    Proactively monitoring supplies and small wares

    Management of hiring and training the team as this location grows

    Working with event coordinator to make sure that the location is prepared for the events at this location

    Run pre-shift meetings and/or create agenda for other managers to run if not there

    Communicate and support the head Chef with the back of house team

    Why this job is important:

    This is a cross-functional role and you’ll be an integral part of the operations of highest volume location.

    You will be a valued addition to a team of 350; consisting of GMs, chefs, sous chefs, events team, and office team.

    This role works closely with chefs, back of house team, and event/sales team at this location, as well as the leadership and managers of the other locations to maintain our core values, mission, and vision and integrity of the brand.

    Compensation:

    This role ranges from $65,000-$75,000 depending on your experience level with room for growth as your tenure increases. Bonus incentive structure of up to $10k additional per year.
