Responsibilities: • Make sure dining room tables and chairs are neatly organized at all times and that condiments on the table are restocked if low • Greet guests warmly as they enter to create a positive first impression of the restaurant • Learn the menu, including the daily specials and accurately describe how dishes are prepared • Help clear and wipe down tables and set up tables with utensils and glassware for the next party • Guide diners to their seats and make sure everyone has the correct number of menus, utensils, napkins, and filled water glasses Qualifications: • This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED and a good command of the English language • Knowledge of the food and beverage industry and/or hospitality industry is appreciated but not a requirement • Must have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills, as well as the ability to deal with customer requests in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner • Adapt easily to working in a fast-paced team environment with long hours of standing on feet and moving around Compensation: $11 - $13 hourly
