Exciting opportunity to join the Doubletree by Hilton Fort Worth South Hotel & Conference Center as the Restaurant Manager for our Smoke and Barrell Restaurant. As restaurant general manager, you are responsible for creating a plan that maximizes our financial and operational goals. You will be able to recruit, hire, and train a staff who is passionate about delivering great customer service. The general manager needs to ensure that the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal regulations. Responsibilities: • Build restaurant staff through recruiting, interviewing, and training food service professionals • Maintain food and dining product inventories and make precise projections about future sales trends • Aim to provide the best possible dining experience for all of our customers • Examine each product and service for quality in accordance with the standards set by the company • Create a comprehensive plan for the restaurant that considers the market, local competitors, sales revenue and expenses Qualifications: • This position requires 2-3 years of previous experience managing a staff or relevant role, ideally in the restaurant industry • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED • Must have previous experience in food service managing food inventory levels, operating costs, and budgets • Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, strongly desired
