Summary
The Restaurant Manager provides operational, training, and managerial oversight to the Food and Beverage (F&B) Department.
The budgeted salary range for this position is $62,000 - $68,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience, all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions
• Help train, coach, and mentor restaurant and bar staff
• Make day to day operational financial decisions
• Help create the weekly schedule for employees
• Maintain an active floor presence including bussing and food running during peak times as needed
• Create daily reports based on walk through inspections of the F&B operational areas and storage facilities
• Coordinate with other departments to explore new business opportunities and plans
• Meet with F&B Manager to coordinate progress on given projects and to determine future assignments
• Help monitor and check employees’ hours to ensure accurate payroll processing
• Coordinate with the Head Chef on the presentation of menus and wine lists
• Participate in the interview and selection process of new employees
• Help plan, oversee, and run catering, holiday, wedding, and banquet events
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years of F&B management experience preferred
• 2 years of hotel industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of food and cooking methods and wine preferred

Supervision Given and Received
Given: Exercises direct supervision over restaurant and bar staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, frequent and detailed review of work, training, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Received: Works under limited supervision of Food and Beverage Manager. Receives guidance in terms of broad goals and overall objectives and is responsible for establishing strategical methods to attain them. Can formulate policies but does not necessarily have final authority for approval. Review of work is not detailed and emphasizes accomplishment of broad work objectives, rather than specific assignments.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
• Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time
• Regularly work in wet, hot and humid conditions for extended periods of time and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
• Must be able to frequently lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
