Benefits • Employee Rate at IHG Hotels • Free On-Site Parking • Free Employee Meals • Employee Referral Program Responsibilities: • Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations • Collect correct payment from guests and ensure that the guest check and method of payment are accurate to safeguard both the client and the business from mistakes in transactions • Attend all pre-shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities • Promptly seat guests when they arrive, take food and beverage orders, serve meals on time while accommodating any special requests • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed Qualifications: • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification • Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills • Prior food service industry experience is highly desired • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service • Must have or be able to obtain an ABC License Compensation: $15 hourly
