Job Summary: Responsible to use various cleaning techniques on items or furniture damaged in a restoration disaster such as a water or fire damage. Remove contaminates, odor and restore the integrity of the items or furniture to their pre-loss condition. Properly package items for storage. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Must maintain professionalism inside and outside the warehouse
Must be able to maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards coworkers
Adherence to the Company's appearance guidelines.
Arrive to the workplace on time
Perform various cleaning techniques on items such as Furniture, Hard-good furnishings, Soft-good furnishings, Dishes/Stemware, Machinery, Vital records and documents, Fine art and Artwork, Office equipment, Antiques
Catalog and photograph items using our digital inventory system
Asses the level of damage found on items we receive
Assist on the Job with packing
Qualifications
Candidates must be at least 18 years or age. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Education / Certification/ Licensure
must have high school diploma or equivalent
must have a valid drivers license
a background in the restoration industry is a bonus but not required.
Knowledge/Skills/ Abilities
Strong customer orientation with excellent interpersonal communication skills is a plus
Attention to detail
Ability to effectively use power and hand tools
Working Conditions/Physical Abilities Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Continuously sit, walk, bend, crouch, lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
