    Overview

    A restoration supervisor oversees a team of restoration technicians and associates, managing the complete process of property damage mitigation and restoration following events like fire, water damage, or mold contamination, including initial assessment, project planning, supervising the cleaning and repair work, ensuring quality control, and maintaining customer communication throughout the project. Restoration contents supervisor must have a comprehensive understanding of restoration techniques used for cleaning contents and overseeing pack-outs. Must have keen skills in organization, documentation, and time management. You will be the point of contact to the Project Manager for overseeing the maintenance, inventory and organization of job contents, to facilitate efficient completion of a project.

    This position reports directly to the Operations Manager daily. You will use loss details, such as type of loss and occupancy type, to prepare the mobilization of resources for detailed cleaning and restoration. You will conduct a walk-through on the jobsite with the Project Manager, to focus on safety, customer concerns, business interruption needs, and stabilization. You will oversee the efficient productivity of the crew on the jobsite to list, photograph, clean, pack, store and deliver restorable and non-restorable contents using our inventory system.

    Some of the essential job duties & responsibilities:

    Responsible for daily operations for pack-out and pack-in, onsite contents cleaning and packing, inventory and maintenance of goods on jobs.

    Communication with the Project Manager daily regarding job details and job progress.

    Ensure all work and time is accounted for throughout the entire project.

    Must be able to multitask and take on administrative duties as needed.

    Create and finalize resource needs and timelines, the project organizational chart, projected milestones, and defining the detailed project tasks and work orders. Coordinate efficient turnaround time for contents processing.

    Ensures the operations of the project are completed, documented, and communicated properly to all parties.

    Inspect and evaluate the progress of the project daily.

    Communicates customer needs with the Project Manager daily as the job progresses. These customer needs, as well as the actual progression of the project, will drive the priorities of the Project Manager.

    Coordinate specialty cleaning, such as clothing, textiles, electronics, artwork, and high valued items.

    Knowledge and experience with Contents Tracking Software.

    Ensure constant attention to detail, and constant safeguarding of warehouse and other people’s property and information.

    Must possess strong computer skills and able to learn new software programs quickly

    Some of the qualifications:

    Multi or Bi-lingual Hispanic language skills preferred.

    IICRC certified in Fire and Smoke and/or Odor Control preferred.

    IICRC certified in Water Damage Restoration Technician preferred.

    2-4 years’ experience in contents restoration.

    Knowledge and experience with chemical products, disposal and use on varying surfaces.

    Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices.

    Ability to work within a team or independently as needed. Criminal Record Check, may be required

    Must have and maintain a clean driving record and pass a MVD report.

    Work Environment:

    Fast-paced, high pressure work environment.

    Shift hours may vary depending on the size and scope of the project but will typically consist of eight (8) hours. Additional working hours may be required as needed to complete assignments and task projects within scheduled timeline.

    Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time with approximately sixty percent (60%) of the time evaluating the progress of the site by conducting site walk throughs.

    Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary.
