Summary: The Restoration Estimator is responsible for managing a wide range of functions necessary to successfully obtain, bid, and price mitigation and remediation projects. They are responsible for ensuring an accurate scope of work is created, delivering consistent and complete estimates, and maintaining a high quality of service in all dealings with customers, clients, and resource providers involved in mitigation and remediation services.
Responsibilities:
Establish customer relationship for mitigation and remediation services
Educate customer on the mitigation and remediation process
Ensure that estimates meet client requirements
Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for a project
Create an accurate sketch and initial scope of work for mitigation and remediation
projects
Deliver quick, consistent, and well-defined estimates
Other duties as assigned
Necessary Experience and Education
Minimum of 2 years previous mitigation and remediation estimating and/or insurance adjusting experience.
High school diploma/GED required.
Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Strong technical knowledge and experience with Xactimate software.
Superb customer service skills.
Effective communication skills; oral and written
Ability to thrive in high-pressure, emergency response situations.
Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Proficient in the use of technology, including mobile devices and project management software.
