Job Overview: The General Manager will oversee all aspects of operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, efficient operations, and team development. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage day-to-day responsibilities while driving long-term growth. Working closely with the ownership team, you will execute business strategies to improve operational performance, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead, motivate, and manage all staff, cultivating a positive and productive workplace.
Oversee recruitment, training, and development of employees to build a high-performing team.
Set performance goals, monitor progress, and provide ongoing feedback.
Operations Management:
Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and project management.
Operations include Mitigation, Contents and Construction
Maintain and enforce company policies and operational procedures.
Implement quality control measures to ensure service excellence.
Financial Oversight:
Manage budgets and operational costs to ensure financial health.
Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with the ownership team to set and achieve financial goals.
Customer Satisfaction:
Ensure consistently high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Foster strong relationships with clients to encourage loyalty and referrals.
Business Growth:
Identify opportunities for business expansion and diversification.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive new customer acquisition and retention.
Develop and execute long-term strategies to ensure sustained growth.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven management experience, preferably in restoration, cleaning, or a related service industry.
Certifications: IICRC certifications in Water Damage Restoration (WRT), Applied Structural Drying (ASD), and Fire & Smoke Restoration (FRST) are required.
Industry Knowledge: Several years working with insurance carriers, understanding claims processes, and experience with third-party administrators (TPAs).
Skills:
Strong leadership, team-building, and motivational abilities.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Financial acumen, including budget management and P&L oversight.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Mindset: Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Preferred: Familiarity with ServiceMaster or the restoration industry is a plus.
