Job Overview:

CRDN of the Midsouth is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Textile/Contents Cleaner to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, deodorizing, and restoring textiles, clothing, soft goods, and personal contents affected by damage. You will use specialized cleaning equipment and techniques to ensure items are returned to their pre-loss condition whenever possible.

Key Responsibilities:

Textile & Contents Cleaning

Clean and restore textiles, clothing, and soft goods affected by smoke, fire, water, and mold.

Use industrial washers, dryers, ozone treatments, and specialized cleaning solutions for restoration.

Inspect items to determine the best cleaning methods and document the condition before and after cleaning.

Handle delicate fabrics and specialty garments with care to prevent damage.

Inventory & Documentation

Properly tag, log, and track all textiles and contents through the cleaning and restoration process.

Maintain accurate documentation, including customer reports and condition updates.

Work with restoration software to update inventory records.

Quality Control & Organization

Ensure all cleaned items meet company and industry restoration standards.

Organize and store restored items properly until they are ready for return.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety and sanitation protocols.

Customer Service & Team Coordination

Communicate with the restoration team regarding cleaning progress and special handling requests.

Assist in pack-outs and pack-backs when needed.

Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications:

Experience in textile cleaning, restoration, dry cleaning, or laundry services preferred.

Knowledge of cleaning agents, fabrics, and restoration techniques is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Ability to lift and move heavy loads as needed.

Team-oriented with good communication skills.

Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
