The Role:
Practicing excellent customer service skills, you will be first on the scene to help people and businesses cope with fire and water disasters. Depending on your experience, you could be responsible for securing damaged property, demolishing or drying and cleaning floors and walls, building containment areas for dust or bio-hazards, cleaning and salvaging contents, all the way through rebuilding. SERVPRO of Richland County offers all the services of restoring a property back to its original condition.
The Details:
Perform mitigation services for customers who have suffered property losses due to fire, water, mold, or biohazards.
Ensure clear communications with Crew Chief and Production Manager following directions and keeping everyone informed.
Identify safety hazards and follow control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and other workers.
Set up staging areas and equipment for each project ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and equipment.
Perform end-of-day and end-of-job breakdown and cleanup to leave job site with an orderly appearance that impresses customers and keeps them confident in our work.
Protect and use equipment and materials properly.

Experience in demolition, construction, industrial cleaning, or restoration.
Experience in infection control cleaning is helpful.
Ability to work nights and weekends in a generous bonus-paid on-call rotation.
Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record.
Dependable transportation.
Effective verbal communication.
Ability to pass a criminal background check with no felony convictions.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to routinely lift a minimum of 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Ability to access and work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)
Ability to don and doff personal protective equipment to minimize potential exposure to chemicals and biohazards.
