    Restoration Technician Wanted! A person in this position typically earns $62k annually. (Pay rate dependent upon experience)

As a veteran-owned company specializing in emergency water removal, we pride ourselves on delivering premium service. With our rapid growth, we're seeking driven individuals to join our dynamic team.

    We are looking for a dedicated Restoration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in mitigating damage to properties, utilizing your skills and keen attention to detail to ensure the restoration process is carried out smoothly and successfully. You'll be expected to learn and apply a range of tasks, including setting up equipment, demolishing building materials, and handling the packing and unpacking of personal belongings in homes impacted by water or fire damage. Participation in an on-call rotation is required.

    Skills Needed:

    Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in all areas of water mitigation, structural drying, mold & fire remediation..

    Communication: Strong customer service skills with a high level of professionalism.

    Adaptability: Must be flexible and have a "get the job done" mindset..

    Integrity: Uphold the highest standards of honesty and ethics in all aspects of the job.

    Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and maintain energy throughout the workday.

    Team Player: Must be dependable and eager to actively contribute to team afforts.

    Responsibilities:

    Assessment: Conduct initial assessments of damaged properties to diagnose & determine the extent of mitigation required.

    Mitigation: Perform tasks such as water extraction, dehumidification, soot and smoke damage cleanup, and mold remediation.

    Documentation: Accurately document the damage, mitigation process, and equipment used for each job.

    Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain mitigation equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters.

    Safety: Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others.

    Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with team members and clients, providing updates on progress and addressing questions or concerns.

    Quality Assurance: Ensure that mitigation work is completed to industry standards and company guidelines.

    Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory, restock supplies, and report any equipment maintenance needs.

    Training: Stay current with industry best practices and attend company-provided training as necessary.

    Flexibility: Dispatch for out of area storm events, as needed.

    Requirements:

    High school diploma or GED equivalent

    Restoration Industry software experience (Xactimate, Encircle, Proven Jobs, Xactanalysis, etc.)

    Preferred Vendor program experience is highly desired.

    Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions closely.

    Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.

    Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

    Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

    Safe vehicle operation, 40-50+ hours/week.

    Night and weekend availability is required.

    Support Reconstruction division as needed.

    MUST BE WILLING TO UNDERGO BACKGROUND CHECK

    Physical Demands:

    Medium to light labor, bending, standing, crawl for extended periods.

    Agility to climb 40’ ladders, lift 75-100 lbs.

    Work in high and/or tight spaces.

    Work in properties damaged by fire, water, mold, or storms with potential mold exposure.
