We are looking for someone to join our team at our swimming pool supply retail store who is friendly, professional, and willing to work hard in a fast-paced environment. Among the responsibilities are having a friendly and helpful attitude, stocking the inventory on shelves, keeping the store looking clean, filling chlorine jugs, carrying purchases to customers' cars, and greeting guests. There are opportunities to advance to pool water testing and learn other skills and responsibilities in the store. Customer service experience is preferred. A positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to providing 5-star service are required. Responsibilities: • Fill pool additive jugs • Carry purchases to the car • Ensure the store is clean at all times; straighten shelves, dust shelves, keep furniture, displays, and the counter area clean. Vacuum carpeted areas daily,/ Mop floors daily • Break down cardboard boxes • Remove trash • Stock pool chemicals • Perform water testing, as needed, and trained • Any other duties, as assigned Qualifications: • Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members • We prefer some experience working in the food service industry • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members • Must be able to lift 50 lbs • Position requires constant walking, bending, and lifting • Must be available to work weekend shifts • Must be able to interact with customers in a polite, friendly, and professional manner Compensation: $15 - $17 hourly
