Dishfunctional vintage retail store is seeking a friendly and service-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team! As a Sales Associate, you will greet and engage with customers to ensure a fun and positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include working the register, opening or closing the store, and maintaining the store’s appearance. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and knowledge of cash register operation.

Responsibilities

Greet each customer and provide shopping assistance when needed

Work at a register to ring up and carry out customer sales

Store maintenance, including occasional sweeping or vacuuming, dusting and wiping down merchandise

Drive sales by participating in upselling

Familiarize with store areas to best help customers with questions and their selections

Qualifications

Understanding of best practices in customer service

Willingness to work well in a team environment

Ability to work independently

Ability to quickly and accurately work a register
