Job Overview:
As a Retail Banker, you will be the face of KANZA Bank at our branch, responsible for delivering excellent customer service and promoting our banking products and services. You will work closely with individual customers and small businesses to understand their financial needs and provide tailored banking solutions. Your goal is to build strong customer relationships, ensure client satisfaction, and contribute to the branch's overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding bank products and services.
- Open and manage customer accounts, including checking and savings accounts.
- Educate customers on banking products, services, and digital banking tools to enhance their banking experience.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits and withdrawals
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking solutions, such as loans, credit cards, and investment options.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive products, services, and market trends to effectively advise customers.
- Assist with branch operations, including compliance with banking regulations and policies.
- Support sales initiatives and meet individual and branch sales goals.
- Participate in community outreach events to promote our services and engage with potential customers.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail banking or customer service is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
