    All Things Barbecue is a locally grown and owned, high-end, specialty retail store, with a large eCommerce presence. We’re an INC 5000 company, and a Best-in-Business candidate with an industry respected reputation for excellent customer service. We’re currently searching for qualified Salespeople who enjoy building relationships with customers while providing top-notch product education, and who aren’t afraid to close a sale. Our Salespeople help make ATBBQ an outdoor living destination through their excellent customer service, product knowledge, and outdoor living expertise.

    Sales experience required. Passion for people, excellence, & cooking is expected.

    Job Duties:

    1. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on providing personalized shopping experiences. Plus, the ability to make a personal connection with our guests.

    2. Effectively close sales by guiding guests through their purchase decisions. Focus on upselling, cross-selling and closing the sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.

    3. Willingness to complete product knowledge training and the drive to continue to stay up to date on new products, features, etc.

    4. Ability to relay product education to guests in a confident and effective manner.

    5. Stay current on all the ways in which ATBBQ is interacting with our customers (subscribe to our emails, watch our weekly YouTube videos, be an expert navigator of our website, and follow ATBBQ on all the “socials”).

    Requirements:

    1. Must be a self-starter, with unquestionable character, and a high sense of integrity.

    2. Must have dexterity over technology.

    3. Commit to learning a point-of-sale system & navigating our sales website.

    4. Must be fluid with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).

    5. Manage communication with customers through a CRM system

    6. Regular physical activity (i.e. walking – 10k steps is not abnormal, stooping, bending, lifting, climbing ladders, moving grills/furniture around the store, etc.).

    7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (i.e. good speller, fast typist, and good at formulating coherent/concise statements.

    8. Manage issues, complaints, and unsatisfied customers with professionalism, restraint, tact, and diplomacy.

    9. Must be interested in cooking (and preferably be actively involved in cooking in one’s personal life).

    10. Be available to work most Saturdays throughout the year.

    11. Maintain a flexible & team-oriented attitude.

    Weekly Schedule:

    The store is open Monday-Saturday.

    MUST be available to work Saturdays

    Schedule can rotate throughout the week.
