About the Role:

We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Forrest Point S Tire Service in Johnston, SC. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their tire and automotive needs. As a Retail Tire and Automotive Counter Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in providing customers with expert advice on tire and automotive products. You will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the right products for their vehicles, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment. Salary will be determined based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers in selecting the right tires for their vehicles

Provide accurate product information and pricing to customers

Maintain a clean and organized retail space

Process customer transactions and handle cash and credit card payments

Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.

Assist customers in identifying their tire and automotive needs.

Offer recommendations based on product knowledge and customer requirements.

Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor.

Provide information about warranties, promotions, and product specifications.

Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.

Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements:

Prior experience in retail sales or automotive customer service

Knowledge of automotive and tire products is a plus

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Basic computer skills and experience with point-of-sale systems

High school diploma or equivalent
