Bricks & Minifigs is first and foremost a fun place for people of all ages to enjoy and explore their passion for LEGO. We facilitate this by providing excellent customer service and expert LEGO knowledge for all ages and abilities. We are a store that encourages customers to reuse, rebuild and reimagine with LEGO elements. Each Bricks & Minifigs location is locally owned, and part of a nationwide franchise, headquartered in Orem, UT.
Bricks & Minifigs is a LEGO buy, sell, trade & birthday party retail store. We offer a wide variety of new and retired LEGO sets, as well as selling bulk bricks, and individual minifigures.
We are looking for someone exceptional who wants to be a part of a dynamic store environment, where we are always challenging ourselves to improve and evolve with the changing market environments.
If you are…
A background in customer service is preferred, and you need to know how to work and relate well with people
Highly skilled at selling products in a retail environment (Required)
Attention to detail (Required)
Knowledge of the LEGO from past to present day (Required)
Knowledge of pop culture is necessary. Do you know all the Ninja Turtles? Have you seen all the Marvel movies? Are you fluent in Star Wars? These are just some of the things that relate directly to our day to day work, and are indispensable
Intermediate LEGO building skills (Required)
Able to work independently on always changing projects
An ability to work on weekends and on any holidays the store is open

Job Summary: Responsible for attending to customers in a sales capacity while also carrying out a variety of shared retail activities required for daily operation.
Responsibilities
Assist with events, marketing and social media campaigns, preparing product, and handling customer trading and selling activities
Contribute to an atmosphere that balances a casual/friendly feel with professionalism
Create an atmosphere that balances a casual/friendly feel with professionalism
Help customers aged children to adult learn their way around the store, and show them things they may be interested in
Make sure the environment is safe and welcoming
When customer service is not required, prioritize time around other essential duties in a way that demonstrates efficiency, proficiency, and ability to follow directions
Support management with a variety of store operations activities
Collaborating proactively and constructively with line management and other colleagues
Most of your day will entail:
Building and repairing used sets;
Breaking down and certifying sets;
Sorting and cleaning bulk LEGO;
Organizing and stocking minifigures and sets (new and used);
Greeting customers when they enter the store;
Helping customers at checkout;
The job requires standing throughout the day with some lifting of heavy containers upwards of 50 pounds.
Retail sales and customer service skills are preferred. LEGO knowledge is required, experience with the product will be helpful.
