    Position Mission

    The Retreats Partnership Specialist (1) w orks to establish strong relationships with parish, diocesan, and retreat center leadership in a way that generates leads and (2) oversees the planning and administration of 4-6 retreats per semester through regular coaching.

    This is a fundraised position, offering comprehensive training and resources to ensure success in building a support base. Additionally, dedicated time will be allocated during the workweek to focus on fundraising efforts, with robust guidance and tools provided to support this aspect of the role. In addition to departmental tasks, the Retreats Partnership Specialist, will be expected to live out the cultural virtues, participate in daily prayer and Mass and have a weekly plan of investment in mission.

    Position Responsibilities

    • Building Partnerships with parish and diocesan leaders to generate 20 new retreats over the following 18 months.
    • Interfacing with other departments and retreat centers.
    • Coaching retreat directors, leading meetings, managing budgets, etc.
    • Project Management and Event planning.
    • Direct up to 3 retreats per semester.
    • Mission Partner Development.
    • Professional Communication with many parties within and outside of FOCUS.
    • Commitment to professional development.
    • Active member of the Retreats team.

    Qualifications

    • Ideally 2+ years of FOCUS campus experience
    • Ideally at least 1 year of FOCUS Team Director experience
    • Experience having directed or led a FOCUS retreat is highly preferred
    • Proficiency in Spanish or German preferred

    Compensation & Benefits

    For this role, we anticipate paying $42,000 - $54,000/year. This range is an estimate. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the provided range and will be adjusted based on various factors including qualifications, experience, abilities, geographic location, and duties.

    Personal Mission Partner Development (MPD) is one way in which FOCUS invites others to be on mission with us through the gift of their financial support. In this position, the POSITION will be expected to fundraise a minimum of $3,260 per month to support their work with FOCUS.
