Description of the Personal Training Sales Manager position:
The Personal Training Sales Manager position is responsible for selling personal training and building a client base using the Retro Results Personal Training program. Qualified candidates will possess:
A strong work ethic
The ability to sell, crush a sales quota and make a bunch of money.
Exceptional communication and sales skills
Ability to motivate both their clients and their team of trainers.
Time management and organization skills.
Computer skills to include Google software applications, MS Excel & Word and internal sales software.
Strong desire to help others reach their health and fitness goals.
N.A.S.M. personal training certification preferred or applicants must have a current Nationally Recognized Fitness Certification to apply. (Exp: ISSA, ACE, WITS, ACSM to name a few)
CPR/AED certification
The core responsibilities of the Fitness Sales Director are as follows:
Providing initial Fitness Orientation Sessions for new members.
Sales of supplements and accessories.
Performing monthly follow up appointments
Fitness Sales Manager Compensation:
The Fitness Sales Director is compensated via a base pay, commission structure and by providing training to select members as well as Medical & Dental Benefits and a company matching 401k plan! A successful Fitness Sales Director in our facility should earn a minimum of $65,000 per year with earning potential to exceed $90,000.
This is a full time position requiring both morning, evening and weekend hours. All successful Fitness Sales Directors work more than 40 hours a week.

The Retro Fitness of Hoboken opened in October of 2015 and has quickly growing into one of the busiest gyms in Hoboken. We have over 16,000 square feet, packed with loads of the latest equipment located at the corner of Washington and 2nd Ave - right in the heart of the busiest sections of town.
We are consistently ranked in the top 5 of all Retro locations (150 ) for personal training sales on a monthly basis.
