You will assist our busy team by producing proposals, cost estimates, and detailed takeoffs for construction projects. Our ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in construction estimation and very strong communication and project management skills. Responsibilities: • Examine specifications, blueprints, proposals, and construction documents to understand the project as a whole • Prepare estimates, written proposals, budgets, costs, and updates for clients and project managers • Estimate time, labor, construction materials, and product costs to determine overall cost for construction projects • Inspect the construction site to collect necessary client requirement information • Inquire with clients regarding the status of submitted proposal and budgets • Qualify bids invited through various platforms with suitable contractors • Maintain a minimum annual gross margin set forth in the department Qualifications: • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software • Stellar communication, project management, and time-management skills are crucial • Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) certification from the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) is preferred • 3 years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is necessary • Understanding of accounting, data and risk analysis, research methodology, and estimation metrics is vital Compensation: $22 - $28 hourly
