Your duties will involve developing bids, evaluating expenses, and compiling comprehensive itemized inventories. If you possess a minimum of 3 years of HVAC control and estimation experience, coupled with excellent time and project coordination abilities, we encourage you to apply now. Responsibilities: • Compute labor, construction materials, time, and product costs to estimate the overall cost of construction projects • Visit construction sites to obtain necessary client requirement information • Inquire with clients regarding the status of submitted proposals and budgets • Interface with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors • Supply accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs • Qualify bids invited through various platforms with suitable contractors • Maintain a minimum annual gross margin set forth in the department Qualifications: • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software • Bachelors’ degree in civil engineering, accounting, construction management, or related field is required • Three years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is needed • Exceptional time management, project management, and communication skills are essential • Knowledge of data and risk analysis, research methodology, accounting, and estimation metrics is critical • Automation controls knowledge • Electrical knowledge • Mechanical Knowledge • Read Drawings • Understand specifications Compensation: $30 - $36 hourly
