The RFQ Analyst develops proposals, bids, quotations, RFQ responses, or other documents describing solution-oriented products in response to requests from prospective clients. The role also collaborates and coordinates with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, and maximizes business opportunities. Prepares and maintains a repository of templates, standard language, and product collateral or exhibits. May prepare custom response content for complex or unique inquiries. E-Verify is an Internet-based system that compares information entered by an employer from an employee’s Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, to records available to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration to confirm employment eligibility. E-Verify is administered by SSA and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Responsibilities: **Our Ideal Candidate Traits & Characteristics are: ** Technical Quoting Expertise • Experience in quoting processes, including pricing, cost analysis, and margin calculations. • Background in technical sales, ideally in the electrical manufacturing/utility industry. • Proficiency with ERP and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or industry-specific tools). Organizational Support Skills • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate quotes and documentation. • Experience in administrative support, including scheduling, data management, and reporting. Communication Collaboration • Ability to work closely with cross-functional departments, outside sales representatives, vendors, and clients • Problem-solving mindset to address quoting challenges and customer inquiries. Sales Customer-Oriented Approach • Understanding of the sales cycle and how quotes impact closing deals. • Ability to identify opportunities for upselling or improving quote efficiency. • Customer service mindset to provide prompt and professional responses. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, but not required. Math Ability: • · The ability to choose suitable mathematical methods or formulas to determine quotes, calculate lead times, and standard sales essentials. Computer Skills: • Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office, ERP, and CRM software.
