    Summary/Objective

    Acts as landowner liaison during all phases of the project. Inspects the line route to determine and recommend any potential access or temporary workspace which may be needed for construction of the project. Negotiates, inspects and documents all right-of-way related activities, including installation of gates and culverts, either temporary or permanent, or DOT, County, or municipal right of ways, or on private land, and other road entrances to ensure all work is completed to the client’s specifications. During different phases of construction, verifies all personnel stay within the right of way and uses the correct access points. Actively participates in the Plan of the Day (POD) meetings to stay in tune to upcoming events on the ROW.

    Essential Functions

    • Negotiates and has regular contact with landowners
    • Search for and recommend access and workspace for projects’ construction
    • Communicates with Senior Right-of-Way Field Agent on a regular basis

    Required Education and Experience

    • High School Diploma + 3 years related experience or bachelor’s degree in related field

    Tools

    • Updated laptop, printer and cell phone
    • Reliable vehicle. ROW Field Agents will be required to drive to/from worksites approximately 25% of the time.
      • Project area to include Midland, Abilene and Big Spring area.

    Certifications

    • Valid Driver License
    • Valid Liability and Collision Insurance
    • TREC License
    • Notary License
    • Any certification requested by the client
