Risk Administrator (Construction Services)
Position Summary
The Risk Administrator (Construction Services) is responsible for supporting the risk management processes required for each project life cycle. The incumbent must manage all aspects of risk management administration and know all contract terms and risk administration requirements, and ensures all applicable items are properly agreed to and documented. This position is also responsible for assisting the Company's risk management and insurance objectives and will direct appropriate insurance coverage for all customers and projects. The Risk Administrator will work closely with operations, project management, safety, human resources, legal, estimating, and risk management to protect the Company's assets and minimize liability.

Skills and Abilities
Education:

Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience:

5 years related experience in contract administration.
1 year of experience in the construction industry.
Computer Skills:

Proficient with accounting software, word processing, and spreadsheets.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, utilizing a PC, cell phone, and company communication tools (e.g. e-mail, internet, etc.)
Certifications & Licenses:
|
Paralegal certificate a plus.
Other Requirements:
|
Working knowledge of the construction industry and contracting practices
Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines
Must be able to receive instruction and supervision.
