Audio Visual Sales Territory Manager Purpose of the Position
As part of a dedicated Audio Visual Sales Team, you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing new opportunities of technology sales for education and corporate customers. Sales will be conducted by email, phone, virtual and in-person meetings. Assigned territory to be a mix of current and prospective customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for working with some existing customers as well as introducing audio visual product solutions and working with districts & businesses from concept phase through revenue recognition. Responsible for customer site visits, quoting, and follow ups
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Degree in business, education, marketing or a related field
Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, and moving opportunities through the sales cycle
Experience in forecasting and exceeding sales targets
Experience proposing, presenting, and discussing solutions with executive level decision-makers.
At least one years' experience in education or sales for a fast-paced, technology-driven business
Outstanding interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a team environment with individual goals and objectives
A working knowledge of audio visual products and software and/or the ability to learn new a/v solutions as they are introduced is required
Ability to present in front of both individuals and large groups or run Zoom meetings with the confidence and knowledge of both hardware and software as presentation tools
Proven aptitude for developing relationships with key decision makers
Ability to self-motivate
Good time-management, record- keeping, and planning skills
Must be flexible and can work in a fast pace environment
