We are looking for a creative and experienced Chef to lead our kitchen team.
The Chef will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining the highest culinary standards.
Responsibilities:
Develop and design new menu items, keeping in line with the restaurant’s theme and vision
Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality and consistency
Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain relationships with vendors
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
Train and mentor kitchen staff, promoting a collaborative and positive work environment
Control and manage food costs, labor, and waste
Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment
Requirements:
Proven culinary experience, preferably as a Chef
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Strong leadership and team management skills
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
