What You'll Be Doing
Robot Programming: Developed, simulated, and optimized FANUC robotic systems using Roboguide and Karel
Motion Engineering: Create sophisticated robotic motion paths and process logic for diverse applications
Vision Integration: Implement advanced machine vision systems for robotic guidance
Process Optimization: Fine-tune robotic programs for maximum efficiency and reliability
Safety Implementation: Design and deploy robust robot safety features, including DCS
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with mechanical and electrical teams on system integration
Field Support: Lead on-site installation and troubleshooting (30% travel)
Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive system documentation and schematics
Control Integration: Developed PLC logic and HMI interfaces for robotic systems
Core Skills and Qualifications
Required:
\- 5+ years of FANUC robot programming experience
\- Expert knowledge of Roboguide, Karel, and TP programming
\- Proven experience with vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, IRVision)
\- Strong understanding of robotic kinematics and motion planning
\- Proficiency in electrical and mechanical schematic interpretation
\- Industrial automation safety standards knowledge (ANSI/RIA R15.06, ISO 13849)
\- Experience with industrial networks and servo motion control
\- Demonstrated expertise in EOAT design and system integration
Bonus Points For:
PLC programming skills (Allen-Bradley RSLogix/Studio 5000)
Experience with ABB, KUKA, or Universal Robots
HMI development expertise
Advanced simulation software proficiency
IIoT and smart manufacturing knowledge
Force-torque sensing and cobot applications experience

Travel required (up to 30%, primarily domestic with occasional international)
