THE POSITION

    Our office in Farmington, Utah is seeking an ASSOCIATE ADVISOR to join our team.  The Associate Advisor is primarily responsible for providing support and delivering the full range of Rock House Financial’s financial planning and investment management services to clients.

    This isn’t an insurance or financial products sales training program where you are given a phone book and thrown to the wolves.  We are seeking individuals who are highly competent, hardworking and of the highest moral character to join our firm in the capacity of Associate Advisor.  We are creating the foremost professional financial advisory firm in Utah.  From day one, you will be attending meetings with Senior Advisors, planning for clients, solving complex financial planning cases and helping to present those cases to our clients.  You will learn every aspect of how a professional advisory firm works.   This is a partnership track position where, if you achieve certain benchmarks, professional designations and performance criteria, you will be invited to be a partner in the firm within a 3-5 year period.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop comprehensive financial plans
    • Provide ongoing client consultation and support
    • Support Senior Advisors with current client relationships
    • Prepare for, attend and follow-up on client and prospect meetings
    • Perform investment analysis and deliver investment recommendations
    • Obtain clients and build a book of business
    • Follow up with firm generated leads

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field of study
    • CFP® or CFP® Candidate
    • FINRA Series 65 License required within 90 days of hire
    • Baseline proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
    • Strategic thinker who has demonstrated problem solving skills
    • Entrepreneurial spirit, flexible, and a self-starter
    • Demonstrates a sense of urgency, strong sense of ownership, and accountability
    • Results-oriented, decisive, can-do attitude.  Must be proactive
    • Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills
