Outside Sales Representative

We’re looking for career driven Industrial Sales Representatives who are seeking financial stability with an expanding company. Join the winning team of Rockford Industrial Equipment.
This position requires the initiation, development, and maintenance of strong customer relationships to increase sales of our products and services. You’ll be responsible for a regional territory. A company office, phone, laptop, and car will be provided. The candidate should meet sales objectives, create planning strategies to achieve benchmark goals and target new prospects for long term customer relationships.
As an Outside Sales Rep for RIE, you’ll perform product demonstrations, assist customers with equipment, parts, and service programs such as vehicle fleets, and safety training. You should be able to recognize customer needs, deliver solutions, increase customer productivity, and resolve pressing issues to ensure customer satisfaction. You will follow up on internal and external leads and participate in product promotions. You should be familiar with racking systems, material handling, shipping/receiving docks, and general industrial equipment to include forklifts, sweepers, scrubbers, and scissor lifts.
Candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, have a strong sense of integrity, excellent organizational and time management skills. This person will be computer literate and familiar with CRM software. They will be creating proposals, and handling sales/invoicing/order related paperwork. Candidate should communicate effectively and work directly with internal parts and service departments. We encourage qualified, motivated applicants to apply.

•\tProven problem solving skills.
•\tMust possess a valid Illinois driver’s license.
•\tMinimum 2+ years’ experience.
•\tSome college preferred, college degree ideal- not required.
