The Worship Pastor at our Frederick Campus will develop and pastor a team of staff and volunteers who will lead the worship services in the Frederick

Worship Auditorium and other venues and opportunities as presented. Worship will coordinate thematically with the pastor’s text and “big idea” on a weekly basis.

Supervisor: Campus Pastor | Frederick

Essential Duties:

Lead worship for weekend services

Effectively coach, equip, and pastor worship team members

Recruit, train, mobilize and encourage leaders and participants of Rocky’s worship ministry volunteer

Collaborate with Niwot Worship Pastor at Niwot on weekly services, song selections, etc

Develop relationships with student worship leaders (staff and/or volunteers) at Frederick

Supervise worship arts occasional paid performers and interns (if applicable)

Oversee multiple projects and meet deadlines with excellence

Communicate effectively with worship ministry staff and volunteers, particularly utilizing Planning Center Online (PCO) and/or other means

Oversee the development of Student Ministry worship vocalist and band members

Other related duties as assigned

Must be able to perform some or all pastoral duties such as preaching, teaching, performing baptisms, serving communion, leading Bible studies, leading prayer, developing faith based programming, singing, performing weddings and funerals, and the like

Weekend essential staff (work week is Sunday-Thursday)

Qualifications:

Bible College/Ministry Degree

Music ability in vocals and instrumentation

Administrative and organization skills with the ability to multitask

Excellent trouble-shooting and problem solving skills

Minimum of 3-years full-time worship leading experience

Must be a mature Christian consistently evidencing the fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22 & 23) and must have a pastor’s heart

A member (or willing to be) of Rocky Mountain Christian Church and adopt Rocky’s Statement of Faith and Staff Values
