    Job Description

    TITLE: Recruiter LOCATION: Huntsville, AL RATE: depending on experience LENGTH: 3-6 months temp to possible hire (based on performance and attendance) POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must have at least 1-3 years of experience in the biotech industry, IT or engineering industries
    • Must possess a bachelor's or technical degree in a life science, computer science or other related field

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Recruiter will partner with account manager and will provide support to fill roles with the account manager’s clients.
    • This role will primarily be responsible for the front-end of the recruiting process (reviewing applications, resumes, sourcing passive candidates, phone screening/interviewing and making placements).
    • Reviews resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
    • Provides complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position.
    • Pre-screens candidates according to questionnaires per client.
    • Creates and presents pre-screening questions to managers for collaboration and approval.
    • Manages and coordinates all communication with candidates.
    • Interviews all candidates presented for detailed interviewing by hiring managers, and includes the use of face-to-face behavioral-based interviewing methodologies.
    • Manages the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
    • Organizes, leads and documents post-interview debrief/feedback with interview teams and candidates.
    • Performs detailed reference checking and/or reference analysis on selected candidates and reviews results with hiring managers.
    • Extends offers of employment to selected candidates under the direction of management.

    OTHER DUTIES:

    • HR knowledge and/or work experience to include scheduling, onboarding, health benefits, payroll laws, HR laws and employee policies may be required.
    • Basic administrative math skills.
    • Comfortable utilizing a computer, phone system, to be able to speak effectively and professionally is highly desirable.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Should possess a 4 year degree in Business, Human Resources or any other related field.
    • Must be detail-oriented with intermediate Word, Excel and Outlook skills. (Must be able to pass a test with rate of 80% or higher)
    • Typing skills of 50-70 WPM
    • Communication is key - Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Recruitment or Sales background a plus!
