    Job Description

    Roseville Youth Soccer Club and its competitive division, Roseville Premier, today announced an intention to hiring a Soccer Operations Manager.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The SOccer Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operations and administration of Roseville Youth Soccer Club and reports directly to the Board of Directors. This is a full time position and the candidate will need to be able to work remotely or from their home. Successful candidate will be responsible for managing player registration, oversight and support of the DOC and Age Group Directors with team training and development, overseeing execution of all Club programs and events. This position works closely with the Director of Coaching (DOC) and serves as a liaison between the Club and team/players and pertinent external entities and ensures that the Club is operating according to its mission, vision and values.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Works closely with the DOC and age group directors to ensure that the  program runs smoothly & efficiently
    • Assists Paid and Vounteer Coaches as needed
    • Help develop and implement RYSC business, financial and strategic plans
    • Develop and implement an effective infrastructure for RYSC and its programs
    • Oversee accounting policies, financial controls and risk management procedures
    • Supervise RYSC employees incl. payroll oversight
    • Coordinate communication between Board, coaches and technical employees
    • Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, trainers and technical staff
    • Manage public and community relations
    • Analyze fundraising opportunities (tournaments, sponsors, etc.)
    • Schedule and coordinate Girls and Boys soccer programs.
    • Measure programming success by creating regular membership surveys 
    • Serve as a liaison between Club and players, parents and coaches. Mitigate and resolve issues as they arise.
    • Update the Board of Directors at monthly meetings on the status of Club operations.
    • Assist the Executive Board in determining coaches pay and work with the Girls and Boys Directors to establish annual expectations for the coaches.
    • Oversee and manage the Training & Game schedules.
    • Assist in the development of the annual club budget.
    • Oversee and manage accurate recording of club day to day financial activity.
    • Coordinate with City entities to ensure maintenance of fields, equipment and facilities.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum {3} years administrative experience with large programs/teams with demonstrated leadership and management
    • Strong strategy development, influence, and execution. Attention to detail
    • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook and Google calendaring
    • Strong executive communication and interpersonal effectiveness
    • Adept at conflict management
    • Strong decision-making skills
    • Experience that demonstrates soccer club operations knowledge is desirable; but not required!
    • Must be available to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends.
    • Must be able to work from home/ home office
    • Passion in sports/entertainment is strongly preferred
