You will report to the Reliability Center Manager and collaborate with the Regional Reliability Team and other corporate, regional, and plant personnel to meet our strategic and tactical reliability goals.

Job Description:
As a Rotating Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for executing major preventive and predictive maintenance programs and corrective maintenance solutions for rotating and mechanical systems across multiple facilities, including Air Separation, CO2, and Hydrogen plants. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning, scheduling, coordinating, and performing maintenance, overhauls, and inspections of large industrial mechanical and rotating equipment, such as:
- Centrifugal, Reciprocating, and Screw Compressors
- Centrifugal and Positive Displacement Pumps
- Synchronous and Induction Motors
- Gearboxes (High-speed/Low-speed)
- Heat Exchangers, Distillation Interchangers, Chillers, and Cooling Towers
- Piping systems and related process equipment
- Providing on-site or remote technical support and guidance to sites within the region.
- Assisting in turnaround planning and cost estimation for mechanical work.
- Identifying and resolving chronic mechanical asset concerns and driving the resolution of high-impact issues with urgency and integrity.
- Working independently and making informed decisions that consider cost and other benefits.
This position combines both office and fieldwork, requiring approximately 15%-20% domestic travel. Accessibility during off-hours is necessary, and candidates should be prepared to work in various weather conditions and access elevated equipment via ladders, scaffolding, man-lifts, and crane baskets.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance of mechanical and rotating systems in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Experience in mechanical industrial maintenance as a journeyman, mechanic, millwright, machinist, or field service technician.
- Proficiency in installing, troubleshooting, inspecting, and repairing industrial mechanical, rotating, and fixed equipment.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices for industrial mechanical and rotating systems.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
- Experience performing precision alignment of rotating equipment using lasers or dial indicators.
- Excellent communication and team interaction skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and achieve results with minimal supervision, along with strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency in standard software packages (MS Office, Email, etc.).
Desired:
- Successful completion of a 4-year machinist/millwright apprenticeship program or an Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- Hands-on experience with shop dynamic balancing and collecting/analyzing vibration data.
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as Infor EAM.
