    Rotational Nanny/Governess | Private Family | August 2025 Start

    Location: Franklin TN – Candidates local to Nashville/Franklin, Tennessee area able to commute are preferred
    Schedule: Rotational – 14 days on / 14 days off
    Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year, DOE
    Start Date: August 2025
    Travel: Domestic and International
    Accommodations: Private bedroom provided during on-duty weeks
    Pets: Two active dogs (1 and 3 years old) – care included in responsibilities

    About the Family

    A warm, active family is seeking a long-term rotational nanny/governess to join their household. The family has two boys, an energetic 18-month-old and a curious 7-year-old. Looking for someone who is highly capable, versatile, and enthusiastic about supporting the children’s development while managing household responsibilities when needed.

    Responsibilities:

    • Full care and engagement of two children (18 months and 7 years)
    • Create and implement age-appropriate, enriching activities
    • Support early learning and schoolwork, with a governess-style approach for the older child
    • Prepare nutritious meals for the children; assist with light cooking
    • Drive children to activities and appointments (family provides vehicle)
    • Maintain structure and consistency in routines while parents are away
    • Care for two family dogs, including feeding, walking, and general supervision
    • Manage the property and household responsibilities as needed during travel or absence of parents
    • Travel with the family both domestically and internationally 
    • Be hands-on, organized, and willing to "wear all hats" in a busy household

    Ideal Candidate:

    • A “jack-of-all-trades” mindset: confident, capable, resourceful
    • Experience in both nannying and governess roles (especially with toddlers and school-age children)
    • Emotionally mature, engaging, and active
    • International or extensive travel experience preferred
    • Holds a valid driver’s license
    • Comfortable with rural settings and private household expectations
    • Dog-friendly and happy to support pet care
    • Must be discreet, professional, and adaptable to dynamic schedules
    • Open to long-term commitment and becoming part of the family routine
    • Able to provide 3-5 professional references
    • Must have U.S. work authorization
