    Job Description

    The Service Sales Manager role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities on brownfield/existing installation bases within the assigned subsidiary. This role will function as Rotork’s lifecycle and plant uptime specialist to work with area sales managers to generate Input growth, increase sales results and technician utilization within the assigned subsidiary.

    ** Responsibilities**

    • Providing new Service partnership channels and maintaining those relationships
    • Accountable for third party Input sales within the agreed country of employment
    • Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
    • Seek out the appropriate contacts within an organization, generate leads and cold call prospective customers using Rotork project tracking and contacts database.
    • Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients via meetings and site visits.
    • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
    • Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the relevant stakeholders.
    • Understand market intelligence - New Service Sales tools required to leverage installed base, Competitor pricing and products, Channel Partners & Shutdown Assistance, Market size and share.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Whilst not essential, a degree or recognized qualification in Engineering, maintenance or equivalent industry experience would be highly regarded.
    • Good understanding of the businesses' products & services
    • Experience – shown evidence in value selling or has proactively promoted Rotork products & services.
    • Strong Microsoft literacy skills – PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
    • Current driver’s license required.
    • Flexibility to travel (minimum One week per calendar month)
