Specific duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
Arrive on time for scheduled shifts. It is the employee’s responsibility to know their start times as they may vary depending on the needs of the route
Supports the driver with the delivery of products to customers at agreed-upon times. Unloads products in a safe manner while paying attention to the quality of the product and the requirements of the customer.
Assist drivers in assembling products, such as furniture, when necessary.
Supports driver is navigating between deliveries, including watching for hazards while on the road.
Perform any/all other tasks as assigned by management.
Maintain a professional appearance.
Must be able to problem-solve and adapt when offsite with a customer.
Operate all equipment in accordance with company rules. Adheres to all local, state, and federal laws.
Communicate with the Manager about equipment issues/needs.
Communicate with the Manager about scheduling needs with at least 72-hour notice so the Manager can adjust future planning.
Upon return to the dock, assist the driver in unloading the truck and properly disposing of debris. Check-in with management to complete any additional duties before departing.
Skills/Qualifications: Must be able to pass a background check.
