Position Summary: Clothesline Cleaners is seeking a dedicated and professional Route Driver to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, customer-focused, and adept at maintaining meticulous records.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving & Deliveries: Safely and punctually transport customer orders, ensuring each is accounted for, arranged in delivery order, and handled with care to prevent mix-ups.
Vehicle Maintenance: Adhere to van maintenance schedules, promptly reporting any vehicle concerns or issues to management.
Customer Service: Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with customers. Understand their needs and address any concerns they might have.
Record Keeping: Utilize basic computer functions to maintain updated and accurate customer records. Ensure all deliveries are checked against the provided checklist for accuracy.
New Customer Acquisition: Proactively sign up new customers to our pick-up and delivery routes, earning bonuses for successful additions.
Qualifications:
Driving Record: A clean driving record is mandatory. Candidates with points against their record or with two or more traffic citations within the last three years will not be considered.
Skills: Strong organizational skills, basic computer knowledge, and a customer service-oriented personality.
Physical Requirements: Ability to manage daily deliveries, frequently load, and unload items.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, starting at 7:00am, with an average workday of about 5-8 hours. Opportunity to become full time for high performers.
Must be able to commute to work in the Boise and Meridian area. Will drive company delivery vans.
