Pittsburgh Transportation Group is looking to fill the role of a part-time On-Site Dispatcher to provide on-site dispatch supervision of all drivers, buses, and the delivery of shuttle services in a timely, safe and efficient manner.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE

• Monday - Friday: 5:00am to 10:00am

OR

• Monday - Friday: 3:00pm to 8:00pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF AN ON-SITE DISPATCHER:

• Ensure the coordination of transportation is operating efficiently on assigned services.
• Assist drivers and customers on-site with questions or concerns.
• Provide a friendly and safe experience for customers.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch to report any issues causing service delays/disruptions.
• Respond immediately to accidents, breakdowns, and any service affecting incidents.
• All other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS OF AN ON-SITE DISPATCHER:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 1 years supervisory/dispatch experience or equivalent management experience.

SKILLS & ABILITIES OF AN ON-SITE DISPATCHER:

• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to properly use push to talk device.
• Must know how to use an electronic tablet.

CERTIFICATES & LICENSES

• Valid driver's license required, CDL License with Passenger endorsement preferred.
