The RV Service Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and installation work on recreational vehicles (RVs) including motorhomes, travel trailers, and 5th wheels. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, providing solutions, and ensuring that all repairs and installations meet company standards and customer expectations. Monday - Friday ONLY! No weekends with paid Holidays. Responsibilities: Diagnostic and Repair Work: • Perform thorough inspections to diagnose problems. • Repair various systems and components including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural elements. • Conduct routine maintenance and service work on appliances, slide motors and other components. Installation and Upgrades: • Install and repair RV accessories and appliances such as awnings, satellite systems, backup cameras and generators. • Upgrade RV systems and components based on customer requirements. Documentation and Compliance: • Communicate effectively with the service writers/advisors. • Provide estimates and timelines for repair and maintenance work. • Ensure dealership satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and timely completion of work. • Maintain accurate records of all work performed. • Ensure all repairs and installations comply with industry standards and regulations. • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Qualifications: • ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive • Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus • GED or high school diploma is mandatory • Excellent customer service and communications skills are necessary • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. • Proficiency with hand and power tools. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compensation: $25 - $45 hourly
