    We are seeking an Acquisition Program Analyst – Senior/TS-SCI

    The objective is to provide specialized expertise to complement the organization’s inherent resources for effective and efficient mission accomplishment and continuity, introduction of innovation, and enhancement of technical competence. The contractor shall support the entire spectrum of acquisition and sustainment efforts as necessary to support the respective Government organizations.

    SAF/AQB – Department of the Air Force Scientific Advisory Board

    SAF/AQB is responsible for providing administrative support needed to enable Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) activities. These activities include, but are not limited to, the following: assisting in editing, publishing, and maintaining SAB reports and briefs, tracking responses/actions from recommendations made by the SAB, processing all documentation for appointments and reappointments, planning and executing classified and unclassified board meetings, and ensuring SAB activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and directives; to include the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), Air Force Instructions (AFI)/Department of the Air Force Instruction (DAFI), Department of Defense Instructions (DoDI), Ethics, etc.

    Acquisition Program Analyst – Senior/TS-SCI

    Personnel in this position shall have expertise in project management and research analysis to include relevant experience in the military or government. They must be familiar with the DAF construct, have experience working with senior government executives, a solid understanding of DoD protocol, and experience in conducting detailed studies.

    The tasks for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Collecting, evaluating, and digitally organizing files, papers, briefings, reports, and other materials using Microsoft Office programs. Prepare technical documents for publication and presentation, which includes basic and applied scientific research subject matter.
    • Providing editing and writing support.
    • Compiling reports and recommendations. Assisting with publication review and printing.
    • Developing and maintaining a study master schedule that includes meetings, key dates, study panel personnel, contact information, and anticipated deliverable and out brief dates.
    • Planning, organizing, and executing meetings, out briefs, and events for large groups of people associated with studies, Science and Technology (S&T) Reviews, and quarterly board meetings.
    • Making hotel reservations, coordinate/provide transportation, and organize meals for large groups of people associated with SAB studies, S&T Reviews, and quarterly board meetings.
    • Requesting the submission or transfer of security clearance information for organizational personnel and track receipt.
    • Assisting with set up and use of IT support at meetings and events (Computer, Projector, Screen, and internet or network connection).
    • Researching and analyzing organizational or process issues and recommend solutions. Proposing ideas to improve studies, S&T reviews, and quarterly board meetings.
    • Researching, analyzing, and reporting on S&T trends that may affect SAB Studies.
    • Researching, analyzing, and providing information on Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD)/DAF scientific and programmatic studies (e.g., Defense Science Board (DSB), Nuclear Regulatory Committee (NRC), and Air Force Studies and Analysis Agency (AFSAA).
    • Writing, reviewing, and providing written material for official release.
    • Researching and analyzing trends and factors that affect SAB studies, reviews, and resources.
    • Drafting briefings, papers, reports, responses to inquiries, descriptive summaries, meeting minutes, and detailed spreadsheets related to studies, S&T reviews, and quarterly board meetings.
    • Drafting reports and written material associated with FACA requirements.
    • Coordinate executive officer support for the analyst position.
    • Processing travel vouchers in the Defense Travel System (DTS).
    • Drafting briefings, papers, reports, responses to official inquiries, and descriptive summaries for Major Command (MAJCOM), Field Command (FIELDCOM) Air Staff, Space Staff, and other senior DAF and DOD organizations.
    • Providing support to track the Suggestion Program, Freedom of Information Act, and Mandatory Declassification Review Cases.

    Propose, maintain, and report on travel budget for S&T reviews and study-related travel.

    • Mark, label, secure, file and maintain all classified information associated with S&T reviews and studies using government approved and/or appropriated IT systems and/or storage devices.
    • Handles confidential and classified (Secret/TS-SCI) information, correspondence, and communications.
    • Any other tasks closely associated with the performance of duties list above and as coordinated with the COR.


    Qualifications

    • Active TS Clearance with SCI eligibility.
    • Master’s degree in a Business, Finance, Project Management, or related discipline.
    • A total of 10 years of project management and research analysis
    • Work experience may be substituted for Degree per contract requirements.
    • Requires travel for 4 Board Conferences (2 in the NCR) and study programs approximately 6-8 trips per year and travel for conferences and events


    Work Experience Substitutions:
    12 years relevant work experience may be substituted for a MA/MS degree.
    BA/BS degree plus 8 years relevant work experience may be substituted for a MA/MS degree.
