    Job Title: SAP Basis Administrator

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Maintain, configure, and tune SAP S/4 and BTP environments to ensure system integrity and stability.
    • Perform daily administration, monitoring, and system health checks to maintain system performance.
    • Troubleshoot issues and perform problem analysis and resolution in a timely manner.
    • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for SAP systems and processes.
    • Analyze system logs and performance metrics to conduct workload analysis and identify areas for optimization.
    • Recommend and implement performance improvements to ensure optimal system functionality.
    • Perform system refreshes and manage multi-landscape environments.
    • Ensure adherence to configuration management policies and troubleshoot transport errors.
    • Provide support during SAP development and maintenance phases, including problem resolution.
    • Handle, prioritize, and resolve a range of support tickets, from break-fix to enhancements.
    • Troubleshoot high-to-moderate issues independently and provide technical support to business users as needed.
    • Train and assist junior Basis Administrators on tools and techniques used in SAP configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
    • Provide feedback for team member performance evaluations and recommend project staffing where applicable.
    • Author and maintain documentation to meet a variety of company needs, both independently and in collaboration with others.
    • Support SAP systems infrastructure and software components such as S/4 HANA, Ariba, GRC, Fiori, and SuccessFactors.
    • Perform Basis administration tasks such as transport management, system refreshes, upgrades, support pack installations, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
    • Translate business requirements into technical design and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
    • Comply with and contribute to system configuration standards and guidelines.
    • Maintain the status of tasks, defects, issues, and support requests daily in the appropriate tool.
    • Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective solutions to resolve complex production support issues.

    Required Experience/Skills:

    • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis Administration on S/4 HANA.
    • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills for assessing complex support issues.
    • Experience in SAP system administration, transport management, system refreshes, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
    • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and maintain technical documentation.
    • Strong understanding of system configuration standards and guidelines.
    • Experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • SAP Basis or SAP Security certifications are preferred but not required.
    • Exposure to BTP (Business Technology Platform) technology is a plus.
    • Experience with at least two end-to-end SAP S/4HANA project implementations.
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT), Information Systems (IS), Computer Science, or a related field.
