    POSITION OVERVIEW

    The SAP Implementation Specialist will be the subject matter expert to effectively implement and manage SAP to meet business needs. The SAP Consultant will possess and use in-depth knowledge of the SAP system to collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless integration and optimal use of SAP technologies.

    Tasks

    • Lead and manage SAP implementation projects, including planning, configuration, testing, and deployment, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP processes, configurations, customizations, and user guides.
    • Ensure seamless integration of SAP modules with other business systems and applications.
    • Customize and configure SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, HCM) to meet specific business requirements.
    • Coordinate activities and share knowledge with counterparts in other regions to ensure global standards are met while accommodating local requirements.
    • Analyze current business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend SAP solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Conduct training sessions for key users and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP-related best practices, functionalities, issues, and system errors.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into effective SAP solutions, and provide regular project updates.
    • Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices to recommend and implement system improvements.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    To perform this position successfully, an individual must demonstrate regular, predictable attendance and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge and skill required. The individual must be able to successfully pass drug screens and background checks if requested.

     

    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

      EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role implementing and supporting SAP solutions.

    KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

    • Knowledge in current release ECC 6.0.
    • Familiarity with S/4HANA preferred.
    • Proficiency in one or more SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, HCM) and a strong understanding of SAP architecture and integration points.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish, ensuring that all aspects are completed on time and to the highest standard.
    • Exceptional organizational skills, with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and follow through on commitments
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP issues.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
    • Fluency in English is required; ability to speak Spanish is preferred.
    • Proficient in use of MS Office package including Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook (email/calendar), and PowerPoint.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    To accomplish the essential functions of the position, one must be physically able to operate or work with computers, calculators, reference books, computer software applications, phones and other standard office equipment. The physical activities of the position include talking, reaching, grasping, light lifting, bending, squatting, and other repetitive motions.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    • Work is considered primarily physical and performed mainly in a production environment with exposure to environmental factors.
