    What you’ll do:

    Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Sales Performance Management - Information Security Specialist

    Location: Hybrid - **** Atlanta/ New York

    Expected start date: September 2024

    Duration: 6 - 12 months

    Working hours: Flexible, Part time - Full time (20 - 40 hrs./week)

    We seek a Customer-Facing Security Intern to join our Sales Performance Management team. This role is ideal for recent college graduates with a degree in cybersecurity or related fields who want to gain practical experience in a customer-facing role. The intern will respond to customer security assessments, ensuring that our solutions meet their security requirements, and providing proactive guidance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Respond to security assessments and questionnaires from customers in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and formulate responses that address customer concerns.
    • Review and analyze security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure alignment with customer requirements and industry best practices.
    • Provide technical support and clarification to customers regarding our security measures and practices.
    • Assist in preparing documentation and reports related to security assessments and customer inquiries.
    • Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.

    The Sales Performance Management (SPM) Line of Business is focused on the growth and success of the SPM portfolio. The SPM portfolio is a set of tools and processes that drive the revenue-generating and revenue-persuading behaviors and resources needed for organizations to meet their corporate goals.

    The SPM portfolio consists of several solutions, including SAP Incentive Management, SAP Territory and Quota, SAP Agent Performance Management, SAP Agent Connect, and others.

    The security of the SPM portfolio is a vital requirement for our existing customers and is a critical factor in the evaluation of SPM solutions by our prospective customers. This internship within the SPM team is designed to allow you to help grow the business and scale our current teams.

    Educational requirements

    Cybersecurity Certification and Bachelor’s degree (completed or pursuing) in Cybersecurity

    Required Qualifications:

    • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including network security, encryption, access control, and incident response
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when necessary

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous internship or work experience in cybersecurity or a related field
    • Familiarity with security assessment frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, or SOC 2
    • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ISC2 Certified in Cyber Security (CC), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are a plus

    Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 15-62 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. SAP offers limited benefits for employees hired into hourly or like roles subject to appliable plan/policy terms.
