As the Restoration Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of assigned restoration projects and assigned restoration crews. This front-line management position leads their team to operational excellence.
Job Description:
Develop and manage project timelines and budgets.
Lead and direct restoration projects from start to finish.
Coordinate team meetings, personnel, materials and equipment.
Monitor job progress and provide regular updates to the team.
Ensure quality control throughout each phase of the project.
Supervise laborers and other assigned personnel.
Handle paperwork associated with inspections, permits, subcontracts, etc.
Job Duties:
Estimate costs for materials, labor and construction duration.
Negotiate customer and/or client approval of project scope and estimate
Ensure an accurate scope of work for projects and prepare estimates utilizing computer hardware and proprietary software
Negotiate customer and/or client approval of project scope and estimate
Schedule, coordinate and oversee crews and resources to provide service on active projects to include subcontractors
Review job site documentation to support the services provided and ensure proper client requirements and billing process
Maintain written communication with customers, teammates, vendors, and insurance representatives
Manage production expenses including equipment, vehicles, and other material assets
Additional Responsibilities:
Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction tracked with online reviews
Provide priority response to potential customers
Participate in recruiting, hiring, and training restoration teammates
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in project management. (3+ years)
Ability to effectively manage budgets and timelines.
Strong customer service skills.
Xactimate experience (2+ years)
Excellent communication with both customers and personnel.
Technical knowledge of building materials and techniques.
Knowledge of OSHA and other applicable safety regulations related to construction projects.
Ability to troubleshoot problems and make decisions quickly onsite.
Ability to work collaboratively with design, engineering, and sales teams.
Detail-oriented mindset for quality control checks.
Understanding of local building codes related to restoration projects
Experience in restoration and/or construction preferred.
Valid driver’s license
High school diploma/GED; Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred
At least 1 year of management and/or supervisory experience
At least 3 years of industry experience
IICRC certification a preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Good balance and agility to climb ladders and move over uneven surfaces and work at ceiling heights
Dexterity with small hand tools and materials.
Endurance to work in all weather conditions, including hot or cold temperatures.
Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and crouch for extended periods of time.
Good eyesight for reading drawings, plans, and checklists.
Ability to use power tools safely and in accordance with OSHA regulations.
