Job Description

We’re looking for a talented Studio Manager and help us to create innovative new gaming titles with stand-out production values and broad appeal.  The candidate requires a deep understanding of people and process.  Reporting into the Exec producer would work alongside Studios in Montreal, Pune and the UK.     This role requires someone with solid experience in leading production for high end game projects, who has proven initiative and experience tackling a wide variety of production tasks, inclusive of defining ways of working and leading a team of developers, artists and members of the Studio. You will have experience working in creative industries and can demonstrate the success launching and managing of games or creative products across global markets.  The candidate requires a deep understanding of people and processes. We are looking for someone to join our team that will ensure a high level of productivity, agility, and is passionate about people.

Our studios create world class first party content supplying the smallest to the largest Operators across international markets. You will be working with exciting brands like Monopoly and Rainbow Riches.      Requirements 

• Proven production experience of multiple shipped products  

• Drive the completion of project goals and facilitate communications, organization, and accountability across all departments. We need to seamless 1st time delivery globally in highly regulated markets. 

• Drive project kick-off and project assignments; ensure teams are setup for success. 

• Professional Problem Solver. Identify and fix bottlenecks, as well as clearing roadblocks both on the day-to-day and in the longer term. 

• Cheerlead. Provide motivation, direction, and improve best practices across all team disciplines. Experience working within small, dynamic development teams. 

• Excellent knowledge of establishing best working practices for high performing teams. 

• Lead the team to work efficiently and deliver high quality products. A fascination for finding new and better approaches to problems including automation, different tooling etc.  

• Process driven, with flexibility to adapt as the needs of the team arises. 

• Superb communication skills 

• Experience building excellent relationships and communication.

Qualifications

Qualifications 

• 6+ years of experience in the digital creative industries  

• Experience and passion for agile development environment   

• Skill in reviewing and updating processes using techniques like Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma or similar.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:  

• Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to transform business and people needs into tangible results, while inspiring and growing the teams, individuals, and processes simultaneously.  

• Solid experience in implementing Agile-development-based best practices, principles, and methodologies for multidisciplinary teams across multiple complex projects. Keeping producers and projects on point with the company’s development process  

• Experience of managing the full development cycle, from concept through to a live product  

• You are detail-oriented with great organizational skills and comfort with ambiguity.  

• You have the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.  

• You are able to work with remote teams and across time zones to foster a cohesive and creative work environment.  

• Ability to work within a highly technical environment and leading development teams working in a high transactional environment. 

• Experience of working with ISO20071 audits
