We are seeking a talented Odoo ERP and Accounting Functional Analyst to join our team in Houston, TX. As an Odoo Functional Analyst, you will play a crucial role in implementing and optimizing Odoo ERP solutions for our clients, with a focus on accounting modules. This role requires a deep understanding of Odoo's capabilities, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and design solutions using Odoo's accounting modules.
2. Configure and customize Odoo ERP to meet the specific needs of each client, with a focus on accounting processes.
3. Conduct system testing and validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of Odoo implementations.
4. Provide training and support to end-users on Odoo ERP functionality, particularly related to accounting modules.
5. Collaborate with developers and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
6. Stay up-to-date with Odoo's latest features and updates, and assess their potential impact on client implementations.
7. Assist with data migration and integration between Odoo ERP and other systems, as needed.
8. Participate in pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations and client presentations.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Proven experience implementing and configuring Odoo ERP solutions, with a focus on accounting modules.
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial reporting.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
5. Proficiency in SQL and database management.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
7. Odoo certification is a plus.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
